What's In A Name?
A Novel Approach To Treating Disease
Intron + TcR - Arm specific TcR (T cell Receptor) guidance systems against disease causing intracellular proteins that can result from mistakes in INTRONs (non-protein coding regions of the genetic code), or from other intracellular errors that drive disease.

Resultant drugs will recruit endogenous cells that specifically kill cancer and will block the abnormal recognition of proteins on the cell surface that cause autoimmunity.
A Targeted Approach
Specialized cells, called T cells, are central to the development of cancer and autoimmunity. T cells employ specialized receptors, called T cell receptors (TCRs), to constantly survey the intracellular machinery that drives all bodily functions. Cancer growth follows failed T-cell destruction of malignant cells. Autoimmunity follows failed T-cell differentiation of self from non-self, resulting in the destruction of healthy cells. We aspire to create drugs that re-educate T cells to recognize cancers and ignore healthy tissues. By targeting the roots of cancer and autoimmunity, INTcRON seeks cures.

A Drug Suite
Our intent is to design and commercialize a suite of drugs which empower the immune system to target the intracellular proteins that drive disease. This approach differs from other therapeutic strategies which are designed to target cell surface proteins. The personalized nature of INTcRON’s approach is designed with curative intent.
